Maybe your headaches are caused by lack of water,
I always drink one pint of water before I start, and usually another pint during the session.
I usually wait until I'm done with my Jerks & one arm Jerks before I drink any water, since having the fluid slosh around in my stomach throws me off. I think it's just rack related though, since it doesn't bother me for Snatches or Swings.
